The application displays over three hundred before and after photographs of Dr. Denenberg's facial plastic surgery patients. The app allows faster viewing of the photos than browsing Dr. Denenberg's Web site.

Touch the arrows at the bottom of the screen to move to the next photo or the previous photo:

You may also drag the photos or swipe the screen to move to the next or previous photo

The photos are divided by procedure. You select the procedure whose results you would like to see, and the app shows you all of that procedure's before and afters:

If you turn the iPhone or iPod touch to landscape mode (turn it on its side), the photographs become about twice as large for easier viewing:

When in landscape mode, tap the screen to temporarily show the navigation bars:

Tap again if you want to hide the bars right away.

Touch the "action" button:

to pop up this screen, which allows you to contact Dr. Denenberg easily:

In the action screen above, touching "See all contact info" brings up the Contact Information page, with more information and all of the contact links:

You can jump right to the image that you want. Here's how. Let's say that you are looking at rhinoplasty photo number 14, and you want to jump to number 72:

Begin a jump by touching in the upper left corner of the photo you are viewing. (The upper left corner that will start a jump is shaded yellow in the image above.)

When you touch upper left and slide your finger to the right, a red box will appear: showing you the number of the image that you can jump to.

Touch upper left ... and slide your finger to the right:

The image number in the red box will change as you slide your finger left and right. Lift your finger from the screen when you see the number that you want, and you will jump directly to that image number.

Touch and slide will work with photos in landscape mode or portrait mode.

If you tap your finger in the upper left corner of any image, you will jump to image number one.

Why are the photographs so important? Every plastic surgeon performs these operations with different levels of skill. Seeing a doctor’s before and after photos is the best way, the only way, to determine whether a doctor has the skill you seek when you are selecting a plastic surgeon. Diplomas and certifications can’t tell you the quality of a surgeon’s outcomes. Understanding this concept will help you immensely if you ever decide on plastic surgery.
